The Adventures of Tintin life-size movie display...

To help promote Steven Spielberg's big screen adaptation of The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, they had these life-size replicas of Hergé's comic book characters in the foyer of the ArcLight Hollywood cinema on December 12, 2011.

It's not a bad way to get people excited about the animated movie when there are no original costumes or props to be exhibited.

Life-size Lightning McQueen and Mater from Cars 2 on display...

I believe these replicas of the animated characters were used to promote the 2011 movie sequel, as race car Lightning McQueen is sporting the World Grand Prix stickers that takes place in the second movie.

Costumes, props and models from Who Framed Roger Rabbit...

The 1988 fantasy-comedy-noir, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, combined live-action and animation, so that Bob Hoskins detective 'Eddie Valiant' interacted with both cartoon characters and humans to solve the unique murder mystery.

Joanna Johnston was responsible for Costume Design on the movie set in the 1940's, including these two outfits worn in the movie by the characters Eddie Valiant and his girlfriend 'Dolores'.

In the movie, the 'Toons' who live in 'Toontown' can survive all manner of physical abuse, but the villainous 'Judge Doom' discovers a mixture of chemicals which can kill the Toons when they are submerged in it, called 'Dip'.
