Included in the display from the film starring Jim Carrey as the titular 'Grinch' was this production model of one of the Whoville homes built for the movie. And if you like this one, be sure to check out this other Whoville model from a previous exhibit.

The other fun thing I spotted this visit was The Grinch's animatronic dog Max used in the making of the movie.

Max animatronic dog from The Grinch on display...

In 2000's live-action version of How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Jim Carrey's 'Grinch' has a loyal dog called 'Max' who helps him with his pesky schemes.

Although The Grinch's faithful hound was voiced by Frank Welker, he was apparently played by six different mixed-breed rescue shelter dogs as well as an animatronic version.

Jim Boulden was Animatronics and Puppet Creator for The Grinch, so I believe he is responsible for bringing this Max puppet to life on screen.

If you're a fan of the movie be sure to check out this Whoville model and facial make-up prosthetics worn by Jim Carrey as The Grinch.

Jim Carrey's make-up prosthetics from The Grinch...

The prosthetic make-up Jim Carrey wore to become the titular 'Grinch' in the 2000 movie took three hours to apply. Apparently Carrey felt so horribly confined and uncomfortable in the latex skin he needed counseling from a Navy SEAL who taught him torture-resistance techniques.

These prosthetics from the movie were on display at Universal Studios Horror Make-Up Show in Orlando on September 23, 2010.

Jim Carrey's How the Grinch stole Christmas Life Mask...

At Universal Studios Hollywood in L.A. you can find two Life Masks that were used to create the 'Grinch' in the 2000 movie Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

At the top of the picture is the Life Mask of Josh Ryan Evans, the actor who portrayed the eight year old 'Grinch' in the movie. Sadly he passed away in 2002 at the age of 20, as he suffered from a congenital condition called Achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism.

At the bottom of the photograph are the Life Masks for Jim Carrey's teeth, nose and ear which helped transform him for his role as the adult 'Grinch'.
