These props were used by Russell Crowe and the inscription on the sword's hilt reads 'Rise and rise again', whilst the verse carved into the stone expands on this 'Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions'.

Based on Michael Morpurgo's children's book of the same name, the movie tells the tale of a young boy 'Albert' and the special bond he shares with his horse 'Joey', who is sold to the British cavalry during WWI. Albert enlists in the army and travels Europe to bring his horse back home to England.
