Yvonne De Carlo played the vampire mother, 'Lily Munster', in the 1960's TV sitcom about a family of friendly monsters, The Munsters. This is the dramatic hooded cape she wore in the television show from 1964 to 1966.

Also known as The New Munsters, the television sequel, now filmed in colour, ran from 1988 to 1991 for three seasons of 72 episodes. The roles of Frankenstein's monster Herman, vampires Lily and Grandpa, ordinary human Marilyn and werewolf Eddie were all recast for this new show.

This miniature version of The Munsters spooky abode was photographed on display in Universal's House of Horrors on February 28, 2011. It was used in the new television series, where its expert modeling design and lighting made it appear real and life size on the small screen.

The Munsters was a TV comedy which ran from 1964 to 1966 and starred a family of monsters. 'Herman Munster' resembled Frankenstein's creation, his wife 'Lily' and 'Grandpa' (her father) were vampires, their young son 'Eddie' a werewolf and their niece 'Marilyn', was a normal human girl.
