To promote M. Night Shyamalan's 2010 live-action version adaptation of the popular Avatar: The Last Airbender cartoon series, ArcLight Hollywood had this wonderful original costume and prop exhibit in its cinema foyer on July 12, 2010.

In the movie 'Aang', played by Noah Ringer, is the the titular 'Last Airbender' and reincarnation of a long line of Avatars who can master all the elements of air, water, earth and fire and also speak with the spirit world.
Trapped under the ice in suspended animation for around 100 years he discovers his fellow 'Air Benders' have been slaughtered by the warmongering 'Fire Nation'.

The twelve year old Aang lived among the Southern Air Temple of monks which influenced the look of his outfit.

The other detailed costume of display was worn by Cliff Curtis as 'Fire Lord Ozai', leader of the aggressive Fire Nation.

In addition to these colourful costumes on display were also a cool selection of props featured in the movie, including a sword, ancient scroll, water bottle and mask.
